Dr Nandipha allegedly assaulted in prison, opens case against the Correctional Services
Justice fugitive and celebrity doctor Dr. Nandipha Magudumana is topping trends in the backdrop of her latest court appearance.
However, the disgraced doctor failed to make her court appearance after it was reported that she was ill and was not well enough to stand trial.
It was reported that the disgraced doctor fainted in police custody before her court appearance.
Dr Nandipha Magudumana’s lawyer, Machini Motloung, confirmed that his client fainted and was kept in “appalling” conditions on the floor in the basement of the Park Road police station.

He explained that he was refused direct access to his client, which he found to be “unacceptable”. In the backdrop of the news, it was reported that she was ill due to an alleged food poisoning at Bizzah Makhate Correctional Centre in Kroonstad.
It has been reported that several inmates have been not well apparently due to alleged food poisoning or something of that nature.
