Pastor Mboro set to appear in court on Wednesday after machete incident

Well-known pastor, Paseka “Mboro” Motsoeneng, is expected to appear in court on Wednesday.

This after he and three others were arrested for threatening teachers and wielding a machete at a school in Katlehong.

Motsoeneng forcefully removed his grandchildren after their father was denied permission to take them home from the Matshidiso Primary School on Monday.

It’s understood the children are caught in a dispute between their maternal and paternal families following the death of their mother.

Speaking on the Clement Manyathela Show on Tuesday, Gauteng Police Commissioner Tommy Mthombeni confirmed that the children were safe.

“The tussle is about the custodian of the children, so those two children which were depicted on the video are linked to the Motsoeneng family.”
