In-and-out air traffic delays are expected at the Cape Town International Airport on Monday morning.

This follows a power outage on Sunday night that forced flights to be diverted.

In its latest update, the Airports Company South Africa (ACSA) said some circuits were back on.

United Airlines, Delta Airlines, and South African Airways (SAA) flights were able to leave the airport on Sunday night.

Travelers are advised to check live flight information on the ACSA website.

There have been reports of delays in receiving luggage from a flight from Mauritius, which landed in the early hours of Monday morning after being diverted to Johannesburg overnight.
