Manaka Ranaka is trending after she shared her two cents about South African women who get married to foreigners for money.

Her now-viral video has gained thousands of comments and reactions since it dropped on the internet. Manaka Ranaka slammed women who accept bribes to sell their identities to foreign nationals.

She made the remarks as she spoke about a woman who was promised R1 000 if she married a foreigner, only to receive R70.

“Our sisters are selling our country. You women are cheap, and you guys will get us in trouble,” Manaka Ranaka said.

Manaka Ranaka added, “You women are cheap. This is very disappointing because we are trying to fix the country now, but you people are bad.”

However, the award-winning actress did not hold back her words as she accused those who sell their identities as the ‘biggest problem.’ She has it that these women are cheap and always trouble the country.

Manaka Ranaka also talked about Chidimma Adetshina. However, since it dropped, Manaka Ranaka’s video has gained thousands of comments and reactions.

Fans were quick to flood social media with their two cents. A concerned X user commented, “These women must be arrested. Why is @HomeAffairsSA not following up on similar cases.?”

Another user commented, “It’s good that other women see this problem. The only way to stop this is for the government to scrap the spousal visa.

“Our country must not be affected by your relationship with a foreigner. South Africa benefits nothing from a marriage between a South African and a foreigner.”

South Africa’s economy has made the country a haven for many foreigners from struggling countries.

However, confirmed reports have that most of them have resorted to marriages of convenience to have legal documents to stay in the country.

Thousands, if not millions, have used the Spousal Visa process. In immigration terms, a spousal visa is also known as a Relative’s Visa.

However, the act allows a foreign national who is married to a South African Citizen or South African Permanent Residence Holder to reside with him/her legally in South Africa for a period of up to three (3) years.
