#SALockdown Restrictions on alcohol sales to be partially lifted

President Cyril Ramaphosa says restrictions on alcohol sales will be partially lifted. The president made the announcement during his address on Sunday.

The sale of alcohol from retail outlets for off-site consumption will be permitted between 10 am and 6 pm from Monday to Friday.

Alcohol sales for on-site consumption will also be permitted as per licence conditions up to 10 pm. South Africa has been moved to adjusted alert level 2 from Monday.
