Mxolisi Dukwana appointed Free State Cogta MEC

Mxolisi Dukwana is the new Cogta MEC in the Free State. This comes after premier Sisi Ntombela made changes to her provincial cabinet on Friday.

Dukwana was sworn in as a Member of the Provincial Legislature earlier in the week.

He was officially sworn in on Friday as MEC. His successor, Thembeni Nxangisa, is now MEC for Agriculture and Rural Development.

Dukwana served in the provincial executive council for a few years before the then premier, Ace Magashule, fired him. Other changes include Sam Mashinini’s axing.

He will be replaced by William Bulwane as Police Roads and Transport MEC.
