Joburg south residents still in the dark following substation fire

Large parts of Southern Johannesburg are without electricity on Tuesday. That’s after the Robertsham substation caught fire on Monday night.

Areas affected include Robertsham, Aeroton, Evans Park, The Hill, and Ormonde.

The cause of the fire is being investigated. City Power says there’s currently no estimated restoration time.
