A West Coast family is demanding the investigation into Leo Williams’ death be re-opened. The nine-year-old boy died about two years ago after being hit by a rubber bullet during a service delivery protest.

The Independent Police Investigative Directorate concluded its probe into his death, as it’s been unable to identify any suspects.

The HRC promises to visit the family and meet community leaders to see if brewing tensions can be quelled.
