There has been a fire at the University of Cape Town campus. Reports suggest the blaze broke out just before midnight on Wednesday.

The fire was located on the upper campus of the institution. Firefighters are said to have gotten the blaze under control.

They are however still monitoring the situation in case of flare ups.
