SA has turned a corner in electricity crisis – President Cyril Ramaphosa

There is a light at the end of the rolling blackouts tunnel if ANC President Cyril Ramaphosa‘s words are anything to go by. The return of Kusile Units to the grid will provide much needed megawatts.

Ramaphosa was speaking during his closing address at the party’s national executive meeting in Boksburg. At the same time, The Electricity Minister says the lights could be back on permanently very soon.

Kgosientsho Ramokgopa says the work has intensified, and there’s closer collaboration with the Mineral Resources Minister.
